Official USQA Point System

Points are awarderd for both pool play and playoff performance.

The top 20 places in the final standings will be paid at the end of the season.

 

Team Tournaments

 

5 points per pool play win are awarded to teams that advance to the playoffs.

A 10 point bonus is awarded to all division winning teams.

 

example: 10-0 = 50 points; 9-1 = 45 points, 8-2 = 40 points; etc.

 

Points for Playoffs are dependent on the number of teams taken to the playoffs as follows:

 

32 Team Playoff

 

16 teams eliminated in the first round receive 0 points

  8 teams eliminated in the second round receive 15 points

  4 teams eliminated in the quarterfinals receive 25 points

  2 teams eliminated in the semi-finals receive 40 points

Runner up receives 60 points

Winner receives 80 points

 

 

42 Team Playoff (top 22 seeds receive a first round bye)

 

10 teams eliminated in the first round receive 0 points

16 teams eliminated in the second round receive 15 points

8 teams eliminated in the third round receive 25 points

4 teams eliminated in the quarterfinals receive 40 points

2 teams eliminated in the semi-finals receive 60 points

Runner up receives 80 points

Winner receives100 points

 

 

48 Team Playoff (top 16 seeds receive a first round bye)

 

16 teams eliminated in the first round receive 0 points

16 teams eliminated in the second round receive 15 points

  8 teams eliminated in the third round receive 25 points

  4 teams eliminated in the quarterfinals receive 40 points

  2 teams eliminated in the semi-finals receive 60 points

Runner up receives 80 points

Winner receives100 points

 

64 Team Playoff

32 teams eliminated in the first round receive 0 points

16 teams eliminated in the second round receive 15 points

  8 teams eliminated in the third round receive 25 points

  4 teams eliminated in the quarter finals and receive 40 points

  2 teams eliminated in the semi-finals receive 60

Runner up receives 80 points

Winner receives 100 points

 

 

Singles Tournament

 

10 points per pool play win are awarded to quoiters that advance to the playoffs.

Ie: 10-0 = 100 points; 9-1 = 90 points, 8-2 = 80 points; etc.

 

 

32 Person Playoff

16 quoiters eliminated in the first round receive 0 points

  8 quoiters eliminated in the second round receive 30 points

  4 quoiters eliminated in the quarterfinals receive 50 points

  2 quoiters eliminated in the semi-finals receive 80 points

Runner up receives 120 points

Winner receives 160 points
